About Trisha
ConnectUS was founded by Trisha Hogan, a qualified Irish elementary school teacher who spent many years teaching in New York City. After navigating the exchange independently, she saw the need for a company to provide information and support to others eager to make the move. She recognized the need for committed and dedicated teachers in the US as well as the appetite from teachers overseas to come to the US and decided to form ConnectUS. The goal was to connect schools that are hiring with outstanding teachers. She saw the opportunities that exist for young professionals in the U.S., having grown in her own career from classroom teacher into school leadership. Now she wants to provide other international teachers with the opportunity to come to the U.S. and contribute to their student’s success all while advancing in their own fields.
