About the Role:

A high-performing public charter school in Charlotte, NC, is seeking an innovative Middle School Technology Teacher for the 2025 school year. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is passionate about technology, digital literacy, and STEM education. The ideal candidate will create an engaging, hands-on learning environment that encourages students to develop critical 21st-century skills in coding, robotics, digital citizenship, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

βœ”οΈ Design and implement rigorous, standards-aligned technology lessons that promote problem-solving, computational thinking, and creativity.
βœ”οΈ Introduce students to coding, robotics, digital media, and emerging technologies.
βœ”οΈ Foster a collaborative and innovative classroom environment where students feel encouraged to experiment and learn.

Requirements:

πŸ“š Education: Bachelor’s degree in Technology Education, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
πŸ“… Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a middle school setting.

Skills & Qualifications:

βœ… Passion for STEM education and integrating technology into the classroom.
βœ… Strong belief in the school’s mission and commitment to educational equity.
βœ… Effective classroom management skills to create a structured yet engaging learning space.
βœ… Experience with coding languages (Python, Scratch, JavaScript, etc.), robotics, and digital tools.
