About the Role:
A high-performing public charter school in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a passionate Middle School English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher for the 2025 school year. Key Responsibilities:
βοΈ Develop and implement rigorous, standards-aligned ELA lessons that enhance reading comprehension, writing skills, and literary analysis.
βοΈ Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and confidence in literacy.
βοΈ Differentiate instruction to support the diverse learning needs of students.
βοΈ Use data-driven instruction to track student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
βοΈ Build strong relationships with students and families to support academic and social-emotional development.
βοΈ Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to refine curriculum and instructional best practices.
βοΈ Engage in professional development and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements:
π Education: Bachelorβs degree in English, Education, or a related field (Masterβs preferred).

Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a middle school setting.

Additional qualifications include:
