About the Role:
A high-performing public charter school in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a nurturing and passionate Pre-Kindergarten Teacher for the 2025 school year. This is an exciting opportunity for an early childhood educator dedicated to creating a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and foundational academic skills. The ideal candidate will support young learners in developing their social, emotional, and cognitive abilities to set them up for future academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
βοΈ Plan and implement engaging, play-based, and developmentally appropriate lessons.
βοΈ Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that supports early learning.
βοΈ Use hands-on activities, storytelling, music, and movement to enhance learning.
βοΈ Support students' social-emotional development and help them build positive relationships.
βοΈ Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of young learners.
βοΈ Assess student progress through observations and age-appropriate assessments.
βοΈ Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues to support learning and development.
βοΈ Collaborate with school leadership and fellow educators to enhance curriculum and best practices.
Requirements:
π Education: Bachelorβs degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field (Masterβs preferred).

Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in an early childhood or preschool setting.
Skills & Qualifications:

Deep understanding of early childhood development and best practices.

Passion for fostering a love of learning in young children.
β
Strong classroom management skills with a nurturing and patient approach.
β
Experience using play-based and inquiry-based learning techniques.
β
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Additional qualifications include:
βοΈ A degree equivalent to a U.S. bachelorβs degree in education or a related subject.

βοΈ Strong character and professional reputation.
Visa Sponsorship:
