About the Role(s):

A high-performing public charter school in Memphis, part of a nationally recognized network, is seeking two dedicated STEM Teachers (One High School, one Middle School)for the 2025 school year. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator passionate about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to inspire and prepare students for success in a rapidly evolving world. The ideal candidate will create an engaging, inquiry-based classroom environment that fosters curiosity, problem-solving, and critical thinking while maintaining high academic expectations for all learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement rigorous, standards-aligned STEM curricula that promote hands-on learning and real-world applications.

  • Utilize project-based learning (PBL) and technology to engage students in inquiry-driven instruction.

  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.

  • Use data-driven instruction to track student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.

  • Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and innovation.

  • Collaborate with colleagues, school leadership, and industry partners to enhance STEM instruction.

  • Build strong relationships with students and families to support academic and social-emotional development.

  • Participate in professional development and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in STEM-related fields (Education, Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or Technology). A Master’s degree is preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of two years of teaching experience in a STEM field. Experience in robotics, coding, or engineering programs is a plus.

  • Skills:

    • Strong belief in the school’s mission and commitment to educational equity.

    • Ability to create an interactive and technology-rich learning environment.

    • Experience using data-driven instruction to drive student achievement.

    • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

    Additional qualifications include:

    • A degree equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree in education or a STEM-related field.

    • Teaching credentials in your home country for primary or secondary education.

    • At least two years of full-time teaching experience or equivalent qualifications.

    • Proficiency in English.

    • Strong character and professional reputation.

    Visa Sponsorship:
