About the Role:

Our public school dedicated to fostering academic excellence and student growth, is seeking a passionate and experienced Middle School Math Teacher for the upcoming school year. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and dynamic team, helping students build a strong foundation in mathematics while developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with state and school curriculum standards.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and curiosity in mathematics.

  • Utilize differentiated instruction strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.

  • Assess and track student progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents.

  • Integrate technology and interactive teaching methods to enhance mathematical learning.

  • Collaborate with fellow educators and school staff to support student success.

  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student achievements and areas for improvement.

  • Promote a growth mindset, helping students develop confidence in their mathematical abilities.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in middle school math.
Skills:

  • Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and best teaching practices.

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • Ability to adapt instruction to different learning styles.

  • Proficiency in integrating technology into math instruction.

  • Commitment to fostering a positive and collaborative learning environment.
