About the Role:
A prestigious private school committed to academic excellence and holistic student development is seeking a passionate and experienced Middle School English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher for the upcoming school year. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging, standards-based lesson plans that enhance students' reading, writing, and critical thinking skills.
Foster a classroom culture that encourages curiosity, creativity, and respectful discussion.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of middle school learners.
Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, including technology, project-based learning, and literature circles, to support student growth.
Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback.
Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum, share best practices, and support cross-disciplinary learning.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for growth.
Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that supports students' academic and social-emotional development.
Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably at the middle school level.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of literature, composition, and best practices in literacy instruction.
Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans that promote student engagement.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Proficiency in integrating technology into instruction.
A passion for working with middle school students and helping them grow as readers, writers, and thinkers.

A degree equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree in education or a related subject.
Teaching qualifications in your home country for primary or secondary schools.
