About the Role:

A high-performing public charter school, part of a nationally recognized network, is seeking a passionate 4th Grade Elementary Teacher for the 2025 school year. This role is ideal for an educator dedicated to fostering a love of learning, developing strong foundational skills, and maintaining high expectations for all students.

Fluency in Spanish is required, as the ideal candidate will support Spanish-speaking students in their academic and language development. The teacher will create a structured, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment that promotes student success across all subject areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement rigorous, standards-aligned lessons across core subjects, including English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies.

  • Foster a positive and structured classroom environment that encourages student engagement and a love for learning.

  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, including English language learners and advanced students.

  • Use data-driven instruction to assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.

  • Integrate technology, hands-on learning, and interactive activities to enhance instruction.

  • Provide language support for Spanish-speaking students to help them acquire English proficiency while excelling in all subjects.

  • Build strong relationships with students and families to support academic and social-emotional growth.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to refine curriculum and instructional practices.

  • Participate in professional development and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in an elementary classroom.
Language:Fluency in Spanish (spoken and written) is required.

  • Effective classroom management skills and the ability to create a structured yet engaging learning environment.

  • Experience implementing differentiated instructional strategies to support diverse learners, including English language learners.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Additional Qualifications Include:

  • A degree equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree in Education or a related subject.

  • Teaching qualifications in your home country for primary or elementary schools.

  • At least two years of full-time teaching experience.

  • Fluency in Spanish and English.

  • Strong character and professional reputation.

Visa Sponsorship:

The school expects teachers to cover the cost of the first-year visa. Any future visa renewal fees will be covered by the school. However the school will pay for the cost of your return flights.
